Geoff Crowhurst, the Coordinator of Greater Melbourne will address us on his passion of “Found Roses”.   Geoff features in the HRIAI website under “News”.   Main Ridge Hall.

Renowned Botanical Artist, Anne O’Connor.  Anne has exhibited in various group exhibitions including at the RHS London Flower Show, Hunt Institute USA, National Gallery of Victoria and Mornington Peninsula Gallery.   Main Ridge Hall.

Annual Film Day, the feature this year will be 'Highgrove', The Prince of Wales' Garden, being held at Morning Star Estate.   Our thanks go to our member, Judy Barrett for providing us with this wonderful venue.

Olivia Thwaites will inspire us on “Gardening in Style”.    I believe Olivia will surprise many of our members when she addresses us on her subject at this meeting.    Main Ridge Hall.

Wendy Smith will speak to us on the subject of “Growing Salvias”.   Wendy supports the “Make-A-Wish Foundation”, and part of her plant sales supports the foundation.   Main Ridge Hall.

On the third Monday of each month

At the Geelong Botanic Gardens rose beds, we will continue to meet at 9.00 am on the third Monday of each month,  for our regular dead-heading and general maintenance, always followed by a cup of coffee at the Tea Rooms nearby.

Monthly Meetings continue on the first Monday of each month. Regular attenders will be notified by email close to each date, giving details.

June: at Marg Ward’s garden, in the form of a Soup and rolls lunch. 

June: pruning days at the Geelong Botanica Gardens; date to be announced.
