The pre-conference tour commences inPerth on Sunday 4th November and will include a visit to Araluen Botanic Park with its world class collection of tea roses. Two nights will be spent in Kojonup before arrival in Albany for the conference proper from the 6th November. The post conference tour leaves Albany on the 11th November and, going via Pemberton which is famed for its Karri forests, will arrive back in Perth on Tuesday 13th November.

The keynote speaker at the conference, the theme for which is "Creating Collections", will be Lyn Chapman of tea rose fame, co-author of "Tea Roses - Old Roses for Warm Gardens". Other speakers include Dennis Dempsey, one time curator and now the rose consultant for the Old Parliament House rose gardens in Canberra.
